Our relationship to each other and our actions, are lead by the notion of separation. This distance has created a void in the way we consider our relationship toward, not just each other, but especially nature.

How incredible would it be if, as you walked down the main street everyone around you is wearing portable nature? The cityscape would have changed into a more shifting and connected way to conserve it.
To keep in touch with the rest of the natural environment, let us take biodiversity with us individually, to cultivate and come into contact once again with our instinctive need for nature.

A fanny pack that provides shelter for a plant for the following purposes;

To re-incorporate nature in our lives in surroundings where it is scarce and people benefit from it psychologically.

To create a pleasant smell in the air as means of calm.
On the fanny pack there will be a mechanism at the bottom allowing the plant to breathe. Here it will naturally expel excess water into a section of the fanny pack, where the user can remove a stopper to clean it. Furthermore there will be an additional section that provides space for holding your everyday items, like keys, wallet etc. So there is also a basic functionality to the fannypack.
By strapping it to your body and holding it in a place where it can be seen at most times, the user is very likely to connect to the plant on a personal level. The body being an immediate space of intimacy and the fannypack strapped so it hangs in relation to a person’s heartbeat, can create an almost motherly sensation toward the plant.
